Eight Strands Literacy is a Tennessee-approved Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) and IDA-accredited literacy organization for K–3 schools and districts. We grew out of ALLMemphis to scale evidence-based reading instruction — pairing rigorous training with job-embedded coaching so every school can grow its own reading specialists.

Rooted in community, growing into lasting impact

We started as ALLMemphis — a place-based initiative dedicated to closing literacy gaps in under-resourced communities. But as the needs grew, so did our vision. Today, as Eight Strands Literacy, we're a state-approved Educator Preparation Provider (EPP), bringing school-embedded, credentialed training to educators across rural, urban, and suburban schools.
